PayTrace Launches New, Modern, Developer-Friendly API
We are excited to announce the release of a new version of the PayTrace API: Version 3 (V3)....
The PayTrace EMV solution is now certified on the Ingenico iPP 320 v4 card reader.
Ingenico released (v4) of their iPP 320 device earlier in 2018. Our development team completed the EMV certification with their next generation product, and it is ready to handle merchants’ EMV transactions.
For PayTrace merchants using the Ingenico iPP 320 v3 PINpad, this product has been discontinued, but remains fully supported until June 30, 2021. For details regarding this discontinuation, please refer to Ingenico’s announcement.
Here are instructions for ordering the new iPP 320 v4 device. We encourage merchants to upgrade to the new PINpad prior to June 30, 2021.
Our EMV solution increases POS security, reduces merchant liability of card-present transactions, and also reduces the risk of charge-backs.
By using PayTrace EMV, merchants can enjoy greater profitability from reduced interchange rates for qualified Level II and Level III EMV transactions.
Last year, PayTrace settled more than $13 billion of Level II and Level III transactions, saving merchants an estimated $110 million. PayTrace’s expertise with interchange optimization and our 5-star service are just some of the ways we make merchants happy and give our partners a competitive edge.
